Summer Trips
Probably the greatest opportunity for members of Kare Youth League is the chance to travel on a Summer Trip. Each summer a group departs on a tour anywhere from five to ten weeks long, with itineraries ranging across the United States to Alaska or even Europe. The trip offers the opportunity to visit the places most people only hear about. But a trip is much more than just an educational experience. Members learn about themselves and about life. They experience budgeting their own money, washing their own clothes and picking up after themselves. Many earn all or part of their money to pay for the trip. Most trips include a musical production, featuring the students in a role of a lifetime. |
