The Location is Beautiful

The Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area is a wide expanse of grass next to a large lake. Geese and water birds add to the pleasant atmosphere.

The Course is Ideal

After a start area in smooth mown grass, the course is on paved path next to the lake.

Rubber Ducky Race

Watch and cheer on your own rubber duck as it swims through the stream at Santa Fe Dam. The first place duck will receive $100 prize.

Ducks can be adopted for:

$5 each or 5 ducks for $20

Ducks can be adopted at any Kare Youth League Center or added on to your run or walk purchase on active.com. The first 50 participants to sign up for the 3k, 5k, or 10k automatically "adopt" a duck for the race.
