Be sure to stop by for Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 8

Breakfast with Santa is back and this year will be the first time in the Stivers Center. Come anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to enjoy a wonderful breakfast, games and a picture with Santa. This year we are also participating with Toys for Tots. Bring an unwrapped toy or book and brighten a child’s Christmas. The cost will be $7.00 per breakfast. It’s going to be a lot of fun!

Football and Volleyball Playoff Preview

That’s right, Saturday, November 17 is playoff weekend at Kare Youth League and there will be a lot of interesting games on the docket for that day.

The C Division has been one of the tightest Divisions all year and so it is no surprise that there will have to be a special playoff game betweenKentuckyand UNC #2 just to see who makes it into playoffs. Good luck trying to pick a winner in this Division.

UNC has dominated the B Division and will face the winner of the Falcon/Georgia game for championship.

In the A Division Georgia and UNC battle to see who playsFlorida championship. The two teams have split their games during the year.

The Falcon AA squad won their last two games of the year to make it into a playoff with 1st place FSU who they beat just beat last week. UNC is guaranteed to send a team to the playoffs, but will it be the #1’s or the #2’s?

In the AAA Division the first place Falcons are home to the Wildcats of Kentucky. FSU and UNC square off in the other game in a battle forCovinaand a championship birth.

The Pac 12 has seen a lot of ups and downs this year but none more than the Cal Bears, who started off very slow, but have now won 3 games in a row, including an upset of first place UCLA.

In volleyball action, the Pac Five has been exciting to watch this year, with many games going the distance. In the B Division there are 6 different teams that have a shot at championship with the Ravens having the best shot.

In the Pac Five A Division all 5 teams are in the hunt with the favored Ravens trying to out fly the rest to the championship. It’s going to be fun to watch!
